Hi, I’m Sofia, helping beginners understand watercolour, build confidence and paint with joy

I’m a self-taught watercolour artist and tutor inspired by nature, from Cornish beaches and changing skies to flowers and peaceful countryside walks. As a proud Maltese dog mum to Elsa, I also love painting animals and capturing their unique expressions.

My own watercolour journey began when I needed more creativity in my life. Painting helped me slow down, reconnect with myself and notice the beauty in everyday moments.

I believe watercolour is not about creating a perfect picture. It is about understanding water and paint, enjoying the process and building confidence one painting at a time.

I created the online Watercolour Clubhouse to help beginners learn through relaxed, nature-inspired lessons and friendly support. You don’t need natural talent or previous experience to begin.
